one of scotland's oldest and most unusual family firms is to launch its own range of branded single malt whiskies this year after completing alliances with unnamed spirits industry partners. wemyss development company, the fife-based mini-conglomerate whose interests range from tea planting in kenya to sheep farming in australia, is targeting overseas markets for wemyss vintage malts as it seeks to diversify its business interests further...
